Some tips!

Eating out is always difficult because some restaurants are more accommodating than others. I often go for a salad with a protein and ask for olive oil and lemon wedges for a dressing. It is hard to get apple cider vinegar when you are out. You can always pack a Walden Farms dressing packet in your purse as a back up too.

I often ask for extra vegetables as a substitute to the carb if I order a dinner. Just make sure that they know you can't have the extra fat (i.e. butter).

It get's easier as you start to find which places have what you are looking for.
