Why I am blogging about Ideal Protein...

I decided to start a new weight loss program this past fall. My doctor mentioned that many of her patients had success on Ideal Protein (IP). I called that day and was told that there was a free seminar that very evening. Thinking that was a good sign, I went. The next week I started the program.

I started IP in September 2013 and have lost 60 lbs thus far. To be honest, I would have lost more had I stuck to the plan so let that be a lesson, don't cheat.

I am still trying to lose 20 more lbs before moving into a maintenance phase.

I am not a representative of any sort and do know have any training on the subject. The blog is a place for those following the same plan to share recipes, tips, & tricks. I also found this plan to be very expensive so I plan on sharing the nutritional information that I have gathered for those who would like to try similar products at a lesser cost.

I spent a lot of time searching for recipes and reviewing other blogs for tips and ideas so I thought that I would share what I have learned with anyone else looking. 

So, good luck! It is a great program for quick weight loss. I will keep you posted on how hard it is to keep the weight off once I get there (phase 4).
